We are delighted to share an important development in the growth of our Dharma community.

我们很高兴与大家分享我们佛法社区发展中的一项重要进展。

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Thanks to your generous support, dedication, and kindness over the years, we have successfully paid off the mortgage on our current centre. This is a significant milestone and a cause for rejoicing for our entire community. We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to making this possible.

首先，我们谨向大家致以最诚挚的感谢。感恩你们，多年来，正是由于大家慷慨的支持、无私的奉献与善心护持，我们才得以成功还清现有中心的房屋贷款。这是一个意义重大的里程碑，也是我们整个社区值得共同欢庆的喜事。对于所有为此付出心力与贡献的人士，我们深表感恩。

As many of you know, our present centre is a residential house that comfortably accommodates only 20 to 30 people during our regular gatherings. Over the years, our community has steadily grown, and the need for a larger space has become increasingly apparent.

正如许多法友所知，我们目前的佛法中心是一栋住宅房屋，在平时的共修与活动中，仅能舒适地容纳约20至30人。随着社区多年来持续稳步成长，对更大空间的需求也日益显著。

Following our recent Gala Dinner, many attendees emphasized the importance of establishing a larger facility to serve the needs of our growing community. Such a space would allow us to host Dharma teachings, meditation retreats, community events, youth programs, and cultural activities in a manner that better reflects our aspirations and serves a wider audience.

在最近举行的酬谢晚宴之后，许多与会者都强调，建立一处更大的场所对于满足不断扩展的社区需求至关重要。这样的空间将使我们能够举办佛法开示、禅修闭关、社区活动、青少年项目以及文化交流活动，更契合我们的弘法愿心，并服务更多大众。

We envision a new temple and Dharma centre in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that can accommodate 200 to 300 people. More than simply acquiring a building, our goal is to create a lasting home for the Buddha Dharma—a place where practitioners can study, meditate, and cultivate wisdom and compassion for generations to come. It would serve as a refuge for those seeking peace and understanding and as a centre for preserving and transmitting the precious teachings of the Buddha.

我们的愿景是在大多伦多地区（GTA）建立一座新的寺院及佛法中心，可容纳约200至300人。我们的目标不仅仅是购置一栋建筑物，更是为佛陀正法建立一个长久稳固的家园——一个让修行者能够学习佛法、禅修实践、提升智慧与培养慈悲，并惠及未来世世代代的地方。它将成为寻求内心平静与智慧的人们的庇佑处，也将成为保存与弘扬佛陀珍贵教法的重要中心。

The Dharma is often described as the supreme medicine that dispels both outer and inner suffering. Through this project, we hope to create a place where countless individuals can encounter these teachings, transform their lives, and progress on the path toward lasting happiness and liberation.

佛法常被誉为能够消除内外一切痛苦的无上良药。通过这一项目，我们希望建立一个道场，使得无数众生能够接触佛法、转化生命，并在通往究竟安乐与解脱的道路上不断前进。

We have established a New Temple Fund to begin raising the resources necessary to secure such a property. We humbly invite our members, friends, and all who wish to support the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma in Canada to participate in this noble endeavor.

为此，我们设立了新寺院基金（New Temple Fund），开始筹集购置相关物业所需的资源。我们诚挚邀请所有会员、法友，以及一切希望支持佛法在加拿大弘扬发展的善心人士，共同参与这一殊胜事业。

Every contribution, regardless of size, is deeply appreciated and brings us one step closer to realizing this vision. Together, we can establish a temple that will serve as a source of spiritual guidance, learning, and benefit for countless beings far into the future.
